2 lb Hatfield Texas Smokehouse Seasoned Pork Roast (On Sale: $6.99)
1 bottle Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce - 18 oz (On Sale: $2.50)
8 Ball Park Hamburger Rolls (On Sale: $3.49)
1/2 cup water or apple cider
1 tbsp brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1: Place pork roast in slow cooker.
Step 2: Pour BBQ sauce and water (or apple cider) over the pork. Sprinkle with brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until pork is very tender and shreds easily.
Step 4: Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks.
Step 5: Return shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir to coat in sauce. Keep warm until serving.
Step 6: Serve on toasted hamburger buns with extra BBQ sauce if desired.
Chef's Tip: For extra flavor, sear the pork in a hot skillet before adding to the slow cooker. Shred easily with two forks.
